Our interior door handles are crafted from solid materials to ensure durability and long-lasting performance. The Fairhaven and Hamilton designs are made from solid zinc alloy, while the Rosedale, Lexton, and Rochester models (coming soon) are made from solid brass. Solid brass offers superior durability, especially for high-traffic areas.
While solid brass is the most durable material, all of our internal door handles are electroplated to enhance their durability. Electroplating provides a tough, corrosion-resistant layer that stands up well to high-use areas, ensuring the handles maintain their strength and appearance over time.
Absolutely! Mixing finishes can create a unique and intentional design, but it’s essential to do so thoughtfully. You can combine finishes like brushed nickel with satin brass for a modern, eclectic look. For a cohesive feel, limit the number of finishes in one space and coordinate them with other hardware like hinges and locks.
To minimise fingerprints and smudges, choose brushed or knurled textures, as these are less prone to showing marks. Regularly wipe handles with a microfibre cloth and warm soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
Clean handles with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid bleach, abrasives, or harsh chemicals. For detailed care instructions, see our Door Handle Care Guide.

A large rose offers a more traditional look, while a small rose provides a sleek, minimalist appearance. All of our door handles are designed with a small rose profile, but we also offer Large Rose Adaptor Kits to cover existing holes if needed. Learn more in our blog post Small Rose vs Large Rose.
