Large Rose Adaptors (LRAK 1 & 2) Installation

Designed to suit our range of passage and privacy sets, our Large Rose Adaptors are the perfect solution for doors that have a large pre-cut hole. We've combined form & function without compromise, ensuring no visible backing plate sticks out behind the rose after installation. We have two types of Large Rose Adaptors Available:

BLRAK (Solid Brass) - To suit Rosedale, Rochester & Lexton Lever Sets.
LRAK (Zinc Alloy) - To suit Fairhaven & Hamilton Lever Sets.

Installation process is the same, however these designs are NOT cross compatible with each other.

Tools Required

Before you begin the installation, gather the following tools:

  • Screwdriver

!!! IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ROSEDALE & ROCHESTER !!!
The tip of the handle will need to unscrewed before you are able to remove the rose and proceed with installation:

Step-by-Step Installation Instructions

Step 1: Check existing hole size is appropriate

The Large Rose Adaptors are designed to fit within holes that are up to 55mm in diameter, with the standard large rose cut out measuring 54mm across.

Step 2: Install handles with fixing screws & adaptor plate.

Using the fixing screws provided with your passage/privacy set, screw the handles together ensuring the metal adaptor plates sit underneath the rose, and the fixing screws pass through it. This can be tricky if you haven't done it before, so take your time!

**TIP wedge the door from either side so you can easily access both sides without it moving. A stable workpiece is a happy workpiece!**

Step 3: Tighten & Test

Tighten up the fixing screws so the handle sits snug, square, and springs back nicely. If the rose is too loose, gradually tighten both screws with a screw driver until it is firmly fixed to the door. If the handle does not spring back nicely, back the screws off and then gradually re-tighten.

Step 4: Slip the Rose over the handle - That's it!

Simply slip the new large rose over the handle and voila! You're done!
